Q: How do I know this is not a scam?

A: Your Money Recovery Services is run by a Registered Private Investigator! An Investigators Licence is only issued after a thorough character check has been carried out. Your Money Recovery Services is an Australian registered business with a valid ABN number.

Q: What are Unclaimed Funds?

A: Unclaimed funds are money held by various Government departments, Financial Institutions, and Companies for people who have lost track of their accounts or entitlements

Q: How do I know this is my money?

A: The Owner of the funds will need to provide evidence of the funds holder by way of certified copies of identification and proof of connection to the address that the funds are listed to.

Q: How do you know about these entitlements?

A: As a registered investigator, we have access to nine different Government databases. We then search and try and locate the rightful owner of the entitlements.

Q: What does “certified copy” mean?

A: “Certified copy ” means that copies of identification documents must be signed by an authorized person who can witness documents. The certification must state that “this is a true copy of the original which I have sighted”.  Authorized persons include: Justice of the Peace, Police Officers, Pharmacists, Solicitors or Doctor.

Q: What do I do now?

A: If you have already received a letter, simply complete the “Authority to Release” form and return it to Your Money Recovery Services, (to the address on the letterhead), with the required certified identification documents.

Q: How long do claims take?

A: Payment of claims can be anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks.

Q: Will I have to provide my banking details!

A: Your Money Recovery Services will NEVER request personal banking details to be provided by Claimants!  ALL refund payments are made to the Owner of the funds by cheque.

Q: What happens if I do not make a claim for my entitlement?

A: In most States and Territories when the money has been unclaimed for a certain period of time, the State or Territory Government may then absorbed that money into consolidated revenue.
